Understanding this greedy intention of the brahmins who advised the King, he decided to teach them a lesson. He invited all of them to come and accept the Golden mangoes to please his mother’s soul.
Not knowing this, the King made an announcement to all the Brahmins. A true Brahmin and scholar would never suggest so. They are greedy and hence suggested such an idea to the Kings.

The King ordered for juiciest mangoes in the region to be brought immediately for his mother.īy the time the mangoes reached the palace, King’s mother passed away.
